MindWave Cat Ears
One day, a friend of mine said, “Can you make me into a catgirl?” Somewhat foolishly, I said yes.
Months later I have, to her and my own surprise, succeeded in making a pair of mind-controlled robotic cat ears, which I present here:

This is an open-source hardware project. It’s still in progress, so not everything may be up yet. I’m working on it, though.

And makerbot-printable CAD files are on Thingiverse.
Makerbot Industries was kind enough to feature my rambling blather about the project in a blog post on their site.
